In a landscape shaped by continuous innovation, the 2024 Invent Oregon competition revealed a collection of transformative projects that are reshaping industry norms. This year's entries exemplified exceptional ingenuity and functionality, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and user-centered design. 


The Posy Wall team, consisting of Gabrielle Martin and Brianne Bagge, introduced an innovative solution for renters with their fully adjustable floor-to-ceiling TV mounting system. The Posy Wall acts as a temporary built-in unit, catering to the untapped market of renters who cannot damage their walls. Their creative design not only provides a modern, functional solution for TV mounting but also earned them two prestigious awards: The People’s Choice Award and Third Place overall.





Nathaniel Chea is transforming the combat sports industry with Evostrike, a line of durable and sustainable Muay Thai gloves. Designed to endure the intense demands of combat sports while minimizing environmental impact, Evostrike represents a significant advancement in eco-friendly athletic gear. By prioritizing sustainability without compromising performance, these gloves offer athletes a high-quality, environmentally conscious option that raises the bar for the industry.





A team of innovators created Octochef, a space-saving, dishwasher-friendly cooking utensil set designed to streamline meal preparation. Featuring two handles and eight interchangeable heads, Octochef combines multiple kitchen tools into one compact and convenient set. This innovative product aims to reduce kitchen clutter and enhance cooking efficiency, offering a versatile solution for modern kitchens.





Founded by Rory Jordan and Joanna Clark, Team Treble Clef is poised to transform the music industry with their innovative custom attachment for standard music stands. This groundbreaking product is designed to securely hold instrument gear, offering musicians a practical and organized solution for performances and practice sessions. By enhancing the functionality of traditional music stands, Team Treble Clef aims to elevate the overall experience for musicians, simplifying equipment management and allowing them to concentrate fully on their music.
